Staff is friendly and the place is always clean.

Went to Starbucks it was great and went grocery shopping and I found everything I needed I go back

Best Hy-Vee in the metro! I love their customer service, the products they sell, the variety of in-stock items, and the meat counter is always so helpful.

I would not recommend using their pharmacy. The staff are always rude to me when I come to pick up my prescriptions. There's one guy that's a manager that seems to have customer service abilities and is polite, but everyone else I've interacted with acts like I'm inconveniencing them for picking up a prescription. My last straw in no longer using this place and switching to Walgreens is that they have a drive through option. It's not a speaker. It's a phone. What genius designed a pick up system that requires sick people to put a phone to their mouth to get prescriptions?

Power outage in a huge part of Ankeny. Lines for their hot food options for miles, employees in that area busting their butts trying to make food for hungry people. Solid effort by these folks on a super crazy night. Can't say enough positive about them

No mask ordinance. Employees are always polite and helpful.

It Was Very Clean And very Easy To Get Around

Love all these grocery stores. They have such good premade food, and precooked food as well.

Very fast drive up service. The employee was also kind and made me want to return even tho I live closer to the North Ankeny store.

Friendly service and great selection. Lots of specialty products. Pretty much everything you could want. Only down side is that it is a little more expensive than some other grocery stores.

This was the first time at being at this HyVee and I only want in to pick up a few things so I wasn't in there for very long. But it was very nice

They had there family sized pizzas on sale (advertised as a 2 day sale for 7.99) . I went to pay and the total was closer to double. They told me that it was only the take-n-bake pizzas on sale witch was not said in the ad . The take-n-bake is a lesser quality pizza . The pizzas they make are artisan pizzas. So the B rated pizzas are on sale when they advertise not the A rated pizzas.If I do take-n-bake I do Papa Murphy's

It is clean and is stocked well considering this whole covid going on.

As always, the staff is super friendly and helpful!! If I have asked for assistance locating something on my list, each and every time, an associate is willing to personally guide me to the exact spot, even if I've declined the employees help, they have spotted me before hitting the checkout, & checked to see if I found "it".

Go to store for pretty much anything grocery related.

I ordered 8 dozen donuts the day before for our company meeting. First I had to twist arms to even get the order in since it was 18 hours, not 24 hours in advance. Finally was able to place the order and schedule pickup for 6am.I show up at 6am to pick up my order and two friendly stock boys I form me at the front door that they don’t open till 7am. A helpful manager informed me that yes the donuts are ready but no registers are open and they are “sorry”. Please tell that to the 120 employees I have showing up in 20 minutes!Thanks for all those helpful smiles in every isle!!!!!!!! Will never use them again.

My husband ordered a birthday cake for me. I was so excited to finally have a yummy cake. If I'm going to eat cake, it has to have butter cream frosting--homemade. I won't waste the calories on whipped frosting or bucket frosting. Because our daughter got married, we finally learned this cake was available through your store. We picked it up on Sunday. It looked pretty and the frosting was delicious. However, the cake was hard and dry. Why can't I find a good cake and good frosting!! By the way, when my husband ordered the cake, the bakery staff asked where we lived. My husband replied West Des Moines. So give the overbaked, hard, stale cake to the customers who aren't local. We are in Ankeny more than twice a week, but we won't be ordering our cake here again. None of our guests at the party thought the cake was good. Absolute fail!!! You get one star because the frosting was at least good homemade buttercream--not bucket.

Got everything I wanted and at good prices. I especially love this cheese from a small Iowa family farm.

This isn't too bad of a store. Have had a few problems when trying to request something that is carried, don't know if it ever got ordered. Overall friendly employees, and pretty easy to find stuff. Just wish there was a bigger health food section with GF stuff.

This Hy-Vee has practically everything. Seems more updated than other locations. Very nice selection of food and other random things.

They were stocked up pretty well and it wasn't crowded.

Very nice location.We went here for the habachi grill, and were very pleasantly surprised with the selection of ingredients to choose from, especially the salmon and shrimp. We were a little confused at first about how you are supposed to prepare the ingredients, as we are more familiar with HuHot that has you put everything in one bowl, but once you get the hang of it it really is a great value.The location is also great because it has a lot to offer. It has a Veridian Credit Union located on the property, and both styles of the restaurant, so if you are not up for being served at the full service restaurant, you grab some of the self serve items and eat at the self serve area. This location is a little out of our way, so we probably won't visit often, but we will probably be back.

This is a go to after a long work day. They have the cafe, but have not taken advantage of. Half price sushi.Love salad bar, sushi bar, pizza.Employees are a little creepy at times, but it might be that they are trying to provide good service. I wander at times trying to figure out what to buy and where items are, sometimes get a feeling that staff is "watching".Pharmacy staff is very friendly and helpful.
